Guilt-free gas?

Ok so as much as I try to limit my driving it is impossible to completely stop buying gas. I am just trying to find a company to buy gas from that would be the lesser of the evils. I have heard there are some gas companies that do not use oil form the Middle East. I am not sure if im comfortable buying from companies that get their oil from Venezuela, because of Hugo Chavez. Canada would be the next choice but I am not sure if the environmental effects of oil drilling is worth it.... Is anyone else having trouble choosing a company to endorse that doesn't keep you awake at night with guilt? I would love to hear from anyone who has more to say on this subject or any advice. Thanks!
