Happy ducks!
The ducks should be happy, they have a voice, and so should we.
Trying my hardest to not get angry over so-called reporters looking for 'blood' at the convention. Hilliary is begging for her supporters to support Barack. If they are truly devoted to her candidacy, how can they even question voting for Mc Cain?
I personally have been thrilled at the tone of the speeches at the convention. I found things I could be proud to show my young grandchildren ... BRAVO!!!
People have said for years that they hate negative politics ... why not believe them?
Tell about what you can do for the country, not what the other person is incapable of ... build up ... not tear down ... anybody. If they truly lack the spirit of cooperation among equals, imagination and determination, it will show as they come out, truly speak their minds, and tell about themselves, their dreams, and their proposed plans for solutions ... that affect us ALL.
We all need hope of a better future ... one where people can realize that, their being in the same human family on the same little planet, makes a bond that transcends any party affiliation ... not a place where 'blood needs to be drawn' at our debates and conventions, but a place of defining the American Dream.
Good hearted competition is terrific ... spirited debates ... bring them on!!! Let the true facts come out, and let the American's make up their own minds, as the free people we are supposed to be ... all of which, as citizens, put country before parties.
We are all American's ... we can all look for the best in others and ourselves ... we can be that 'beacon on the hill' as a sovereign nation among many ... our place secured by our actions, and how we treat others, especially our own! ... not our running off at the mouth tearing down the 'other' side ... our other half!.
