- About Me:
- I am a folk musician/singer/songwriter and activist for affordable healthcare. I am a supporter for HR-676 I understand to be initiated by John Conyers and I understand forwarded by Dennis Kucinich. Many of my original songs reflect concerns over the healthcare crisis. I believe Affordable Healthcare IS A RIGHT.
I have a challenge with Aspergers Syndrome; I didn't always know; in fact, found out and was re-diagnosed because I needed a disability label for Voc Rehab eligibility. I wrote few songs with the autism awareness theme. I have promised www.healthcare-now.org I would use my mild disability to help put a human face on the healthcare crisis.
I represent a group that the private health care is clearly unfair to. Should be able to work, furthermore wants to work his way; but finding it a nightmare competing in the recession narrowed job market for available jobs. Too well off to qualilfy for Medicaid. The private insurance also treats people having an autism spectrum disorder badly, in other ways.
