I agree, too! Please keep the site up! The issues we stand for still need to be represented and achieved. I'm with Anita- I support Dennis full time.

I agree, keep the site up. It needs to be here for those of us that support Dennis ALL the time, not just before the elections.

Thats cool. Yea even though i was in fifth grade i understood that what we were doing was wrong and i knew i wouldnt be able to say anything without asking the principal. But i was lucky and he also believed the same as i and let me speak in front of the whole school at our peace assembly. Its just really hard during this time because many of the people my age could care less about what is happening to their country. I just wish i could do more to change that. Thanks for the support.

Always enjoy stopping in ... keep hanging!

So glad you are working for the Kucinich platform. What Dennis says always speaks best when he says it, I believe.

You tube videos of Dennis, and Elizabeth ... the more that see them the better. Thank you again for all that you do.

May every day be a great one!

Best wishes to you, and yours.

Thanks Nick for the Mel and Judy video. Ah, how wonderful! I grew up singing along with Judy Garland records. "Meet Me in St. Louis" is my favorite movie of hers.

Profile Information

About Me:
My main intersts are spirituality, music, and liberal/ progressive politics. Hippie spirituality is ideal for me cuz it's spiritual, eclectic, nonviolent, politically progressive, and rooted in a love of the arts. I've been a vegetarian for 32 years and am interested in holistic health. I like Ram Dass, Allen Ginsberg, and the 1960s counterculture approach to spiritual experimentation and political activism... and the fact that they managed to have a good time while taking on serious issues like gay rights (yes, I am), feminism, civil rights, economic injustice, ecology and animal welfare. In religion (my major in college), I like the Jain and Hindu concept of ahimsa (nonviolence), the Buddhist concept of metta (loving-kindness), the Christian concept of agape (divine love), the Jewish prophetic tradition of justice making, and all good ideas work together! In the secular world, I like the contributions of science, academia, egalitarian philosophies, and the willingness to critique traditional views. I like spacey stuff: the universe, parallel universes, UFOs, and NDEs (near death experiences). I like the Christmas and winter solstice season, and the religious folk art of India and Mexico.

One of Dennis' great one-minute-wonder speeches on the floor of the House of Representatives!

Kentucky Derby and nonviolence

I heard about that horse, Eight Belles, being euthanized after both its ankles broke at the close of the Kentucky Derby, and I was thinking that this suffering was totally unnecessary. Racing horses to exhaustion and physical breakdown for the amusement of gamblers and for prizes is an act of violence. Animals have been under human subjugation for a long time, and it is part of our spiritual evolution to begin to consider their feelings in many ways. This journey began for me in 1976 when I got… Continue
